Chief of Product Design
She has been brought into the hotel industry by her strong interest in designs, visuals and involved in each rollout of product designs ranging from the manufacturing industry—food and non-food commodities to hospitality and real estate development. She highlights that design is not only something nice or beautiful; it is rather necessitated by customer thinks and owners’ objectives incorporated together into design elements to serve each other.
Her educational backgrounds are BSc. and MSc. degrees in Food Science, Nutrition and Technology and Ph.D in Product Development. Her research and work experiences are in physical chemistry involving the application of optical apparatus and spectral sensor technology in manufacturing quality control and hence smart systems. She successfully developed the method for real-time quality control and monitoring used in process optimisation in the fertiliser industry being the first application in the country. More than 10 years she is involving in product quality control particularly in the industrial level. She is a consultant for several manufacturers and laboratories. This brings the area of expertise in multivariate data analysis where relevant information can be collected and analysed to extract useful information to finally convey strong message(s) to customers and also within the team colleague.
With her passion in design, she utilises her knowledge to hotel designing process to extract design elements applicable to hotel interior and exterior correspondence with consumer behaviours, environments, branding and product-consumer assurance.
