Dr. Jutamas holds her PhD in tourism marketing and management from Lincoln University, New Zealand. She is now a managing director and consultant, leading an innovative team at Perfect Link Consulting Group “a consortium of experts”, specializing in community based approach and capacity building program, tourism marketing, destination branding, creative tourism, sustainable culinary supply chain management, greener business, hotel and tourism occupational standards, organization development and sustainable tourism development and community participation in sustainable development.
She has designed a creative 9+1 building block, which is used as a community learning tool for capacity building in all the designated areas for sustainable tourism in Thailand. She has worked closely with Thai artisan chefs, designers and communities, finding ways to innovate local wisdoms to the next level. Her initiatives in art of food and how local ingredients, identities and resources could be paired with Thai performing arts and fashion created an interesting platform for young entrepreneurs to start up new ventures. Her research in gastronomy has contributed to the formulation of the ASEAN gastronomy declaration which all leaders could use as a guideline to move forward gastronomy and tourism in the region and to materialise the inclusiveness and sustainable development.
She shared her passion with diverse ranges of participants in Asia; these include planning for MICE and MICE marketing in Taiwan, MICE for educators in Asia, Tourism Management a Regional Approach to the Greater Mekong Sub-Region (GMS) countries, Tourism Education and Management for China, Hospitality and Tourism Management Essentials for Vietnam, Tourism marketing for local governments (all 76 provinces within Thailand). More than 800 participants from all regions in Thailand have completed tourism marketing capacity building program designed carefully with her lead and support from Tourism Authority of Thailand. She continues to work extensively with both public and private sectors in the sustainable development of destination branding and tourism strategies.
